What is the risk of opening a credit card when we are about to close a mortgage loan?
Me and my husband is a house purchasng VA and we have adopted are that are scheduled to close 07 February. Now we open a credit card and 3K past. As you know that our loan is being Subscriber reviewed by the mortgage, do you think may affect the final approval? Help!
If you look at the approval letter is probably not absolute. There is probably something there that "no substantial changes prior to closing." Is likely to pull a copy of its report just before closing and see if anything has changed. If so, have the right to withdraw its approval and send the file back to the subscription for the reassessment. Even if they decide not matter, if they find this in February 6 to blow your deadline. Do not make any changes to your finances after it was approved.
