Banks or credit unions are paying now? – I need a credit card.?

I have decent credit. My status credit score is between 670-720. I can not seem to get any approvals and my credit report is clean, except perhaps for a late payment or two that happened years ago. I live in California so it would be nice if someone knows the things around here unless you can apply online. My specific question is: What banks and credit unions are easy to get a credit card? Thanks for your help.

If you have good credit and a history clean credit and stable employment (which usually helps), any bank or credit card company will gladly give you a letter. Even as student, Bank of America and a local credit union, both gave me a card. I also I have an MBNA card (back in the day before Bank of America became charge), but was rejected by CapitalOne. So really, I do not know why you're being rejected. Perhaps the delay in payments (which make you look years ago), or maybe it's the kind of income you have, so I think that small credit unions are more confident and willing to take a risk in people. Usually will give a game with a limit of $ 500 and then go from there.
